Are the items on Pre-Pupped new or used?
All items on Pre-Pupped are preloved — gently used pet clothing and accessories listed by individual sellers. Each listing includes a condition description so you know exactly what you're getting.
What kinds of items can I find on Pre-Pupped?
You'll find dog and cat clothing including coats, sweaters, costumes, rainwear, and boots, as well as accessories like bandanas, bowties, hats, and decorative collars, and pet furniture such as beds, carriers, and more.
How do I pay?
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards.
Is my payment information safe?
Yes — Pre-Pupped uses Stripe for all payment processing, one of the most trusted and secure payment platforms in the world. We never store your card details.
Selling and Listing
How do I start selling on Pre-Pupped?
Create a free account, set up your seller profile, and start listing your items. It only takes a few minutes to get your first listing live.
What can I sell on Pre-Pupped?
You can sell preloved dog and cat clothing and accessories in good, wearable condition. Items should be clean and accurately described.
How do I price my items?
Pricing is completely up to you. We recommend checking similar listings on Pre-Pupped for guidance. Keep in mind that buyers are looking for value — competitive pricing helps your items sell faster.
How do I get paid?
Once your item is delivered, 90% of the sale price is released directly to your account through Stripe. Pre-Pupped retains a 10% transaction fee — 9% for operations and 1% donated to the buyer's chosen charity.
Is there a minimum listing price?
We recommend a minimum listing price of $10 to ensure the transaction is worthwhile for both you and the buyer after fees.
Shipping & Delivery
Who pays for shipping?
Buyers pay for shipping at checkout as a separate line item. Sellers set their own shipping fee when creating a listing — simply visit pirateship.com before listing to get your exact rate based on your item's weight and destination. Sellers never pay out of pocket for postage — the shipping fee collected from the buyer covers the cost of the label.
How does shipping work for sellers?
When your item sells you'll receive a payment confirmation email with a link to your order page. Go to pirateship.com — free! — to generate a discounted USPS label and get your tracking number. Return to your order page to mark the item as shipped and send your buyer their tracking number — all in one place! Once your item is delivered your payment is released directly to your account.
How long does shipping take?
Most items arrive within 3-7 business days via USPS. You will receive your tracking number from the seller via message in your Pre-Pupped account.
What if my package is lost in transit?
If your package is lost in transit please contact us at support@prepupped.com and we will do our best to help resolve the situation.
What size should I select for shipping?
Before creating your listing weigh your item on a kitchen scale. Then visit pirateship.com — enter your package weight and your zip code to get your exact shipping rate. Enter that amount in the shipping fee field when creating your listing. Rates vary by destination so always check Pirate Ship for the most accurate rate!
Fees & Payments
What is Pre-Pupped's seller fee?
Pre-Pupped charges a 10% transaction fee on every sale — 9% goes to running and growing the platform, and 1% is donated to the buyer's chosen animal welfare charity.
How does Pre-Pupped compare to other resale platforms?
At 10% Pre-Pupped matches Mercari and is less than half of Poshmark's 20% fee. Unlike general platforms, Pre-Pupped is exclusively focused on pet fashion — so your listings reach buyers who are specifically looking for what you're selling.
Are there any listing fees?
No — listing on Pre-Pupped is completely free. You only pay when you make a sale.
When do I receive my payout?
Your payout is released once the buyer receives their item and delivery is confirmed by USPS tracking.
The Charity Program
How does the charity program work?
At checkout every buyer chooses which of our three partner charities receives 1% of their sale. It's that simple — every purchase on Pre-Pupped makes a difference.
Which charities can I choose from?
Buyers can choose from three animal welfare charities at checkout — Planned Pethood International, Best Friends Animal Society, and RedRover. All three are established 501(c)(3) nonprofits dedicated to the welfare of animals.
How much goes to charity?
1% of every sale goes directly to the buyer's chosen charity. Pre-Pupped pays out donations monthly and publishes a monthly impact update so you can see exactly how much has been donated.
Can I see how much has been donated in total?
Yes — we publish a monthly impact update on our website and social media showing the total donated and the breakdown by charity.

Because all items on Pre-Pupped are preloved and sold by individual sellers, all sales are final. We encourage buyers to read listings carefully, check photos thoroughly, and message sellers with any questions before purchasing.
What if an item arrives not as described?
If an item arrives significantly different from its listing description please contact us at support@prepupped.com within 48 hours of delivery. We will review the case and work to find a fair resolution.
What if my item never arrives?
If your item hasn't arrived within the expected delivery window please check the USPS tracking first. If there is no tracking update please contact us at support@prepupped.com and we will help investigate.
