Born from a big dog family who fell for a little one.

For most of our lives, we were a big dog family. Australian Shepherds, Great Pyrenees, Border Collies — dogs with big personalities, big hearts, and absolutely no interest in wearing a sweater.

Then came Taz.

Taz was a Pomeranian — small, fluffy, and completely unaware of how tiny he was. When we adopted him as a senior dog, we discovered something we never expected: the absolute joy of dressing up a little dog.

Border Collie and Pomeranian

Colorado winters are no joke, and Taz needed layers. But one outfit leads to another, and another — and suddenly you have a Pomeranian with a wardrobe that rivals yours.

We didn't mind one bit. He was worth every penny.

When Taz became critically ill, we drove two hours up into the mountains in a Colorado snowstorm — our first time driving in the mountains, our first time driving in the snow — to reach Planned Pethood International in Conifer.

They are angels. They tried so hard to save him.

We will never forget their kindness, and we will never stop supporting what they do.

Taz redo

We lost our Border Collie Lucky three weeks before we moved to Colorado.

We lost Taz three weeks after we arrived.

Grief has a way of arriving all at once.

But grief also has a way of pointing you toward something new.

After Taz passed, we looked at his little wardrobe and couldn't bear to throw it away. These weren't just clothes — they were memories. Little pieces of a big personality. We started wondering: where do you even sell something like this? Where do pet owners go when their dog outgrows a sweater, or they need to find a new home for a costume their cat wore once?

There was no good answer. No dedicated place.

Just a scattering of listings buried among millions of unrelated items on platforms that weren't built for this.

So we built one.

Now we have Ellie — a tiny, spirited Chiweenie rescue who is growing up so fast that by the time we find the perfect outfit, we have to start looking for the next size up.

Chiweenie in summer dress

Pre-Pupped is for every pet owner who has ever fallen completely in love with dressing their animal — and felt the sting of how expensive, how wasteful, and how scattered the market is.

It's a place where Taz's little sweater finds a new dog to keep warm. Where Ellie's outgrown dresses find their next adventure. Where every purchase supports the animal welfare charities that mean the most to our community.

We built this for Taz. We're building it for Ellie. And we're building it for every pet who deserves to be warm, stylish, and loved.
